Rodney Stevens, the founder of RSA Acoustics and Principal Consultant, has been an acoustic practitioner for over 30 years. Having started with the State Pollution Control Commission (Now the Department of Conservation and Climate Change) in 1975, has invaluable expertise and experience gained in the fields of data analysis, monitoring, field analysis, consultation and compliance.
Rodney is a member of the Australian Acoustical Society, and is a member of the NSW Divisional Committee. He is also the Treasurer of the Society and has contributed to the development of the NSW Industrial Noise Policy.
Raymond Sim is the Group Manager as well as a senior project consultant for RSA Acoustics. Raymond completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) at the University of Sydney. Prior to joining RSA and Heggies in 2004, he has worked as an Acoustical Engineer and now has over 8 years experience in the field. He has experience in the measurement, assessment, control and modelling of environmental noise, occupational noise, building acoustics design and building services noise control.
Since joining the company Raymond had worked in Transport, Industry, Building and Environmental acoustic projects. Some of Raymond's recent project experiences are the Energy Australia Learning Centre in Silverwater, Advanx Rushcutters bay Residential Development, Woolworths Petrol Stations, Suncorp Office Tower in Brisbane, North-West Transit Way and Westlink M7. Raymond is also a Green Star Accredited Professional and is also an accredited ABSA assessor.
Alan Parks is a project consultant of RSA Acoustics and has 21 years public sector experience in Construction, Project Management, Environmental Compliance, Quality, Safety and Public Relations.
